Sarah Dodd is a professional dancer who hails from Syracuse, NY and currently resides in the New York City area. Sarah recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo with a BFA in Dance. In her time there, she was a featured dancer in Zodiaque Dance Company, selected to represent the school at the American College Dance Association's Northeastern Conference and presented choreography at the SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference.

As a recipient of the Jean Taylor Beard Scholarship and the Morris Arts Scholarship, Sarah has had the pleasure of studying at Bates Dance Festival, WinterMELT, Lehrer Dance Summer Intensive, Archcore40 under Jennifer Archibald, Koresh Dance Intensive and Shen Wei Dance Arts Intensive. Sarah's personal style and choreographic voice are a dynamic dialog between the versatile genres of dance she has studied in. Sarah is constantly inspired by the communicative possibilities of movement and the physical body.

Sarah also guest teaches and choreographs for various dance studios across New York State. She focuses on helping her students use technique as a tool in which to share their artistry with clarity, efficiency and purpose.

Since her move to the city, Sarah has performed and continues to work with Smashworks Dance Collective and Now Dance Project.
